Hi, I'm Erin
Still missing some key details about my favorite snacks and my Australian Shepherd obsession, but here's the rest.
The Journey
Not a linear path, but an intentional one.
I studied psychology, education, and information technology at UMass Amherst. Not the most obvious combination, but it turns out understanding how people think, how they learn, and how systems work is a pretty useful foundation. I started my career as an IT training coordinator and instructor at a biotech company, where I got a foundation in learning management, customer support, and technical training. That experience taught me how to make complex things understandable for people who just need to do their jobs.
From there, I moved into eCommerce and supply chain, working with enterprise brands on product data and digital shelf challenges. I started in Customer Success, where I learned how to onboard complex accounts, spot risk before it became a problem, and work closely with Product and Engineering to deliver clear technical wins to customers.
Sales Engineering was a natural next step. I spent years as an individual contributor before moving into leadership, eventually leading a commercial SE team. I learned to ask the question behind the question, to build demos that tell a story instead of just showing features, and to support the kinds of enterprise deals where the technical evaluation can make or break a decision. Somewhere along the way, I realized I was just as interested in building the systems around the work as I was in doing the work itself.
That insight led me to a learning technology company, where I grew from Senior SE to Director of GTM Strategy. I built and managed a team that spanned Sales Engineering, enablement, and technical strategy. I stood up a Technical Center of Excellence, owned revenue enablement, shaped product narratives, and learned what it means to coach people through growth and ambiguity.
Today, I'm back in supply chain, leading Product Learning Experience for an enterprise software company. I manage a global team responsible for customer education and documentation across multiple product lines. The work is still the same at its core: take something complex, make it clear, and build systems that help people do their jobs better.
